Summary: We had a great time during our stay at this house and would rent it again since it has many bedrooms and we had family staying with us. The house is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood and it is within walking distance of the beach, shops, and great restaurants. Also, a large supermarket is just an 8 min drive away. Paulo the host is very accommodating, he helped us out with bedsheets and he had no problems with us bringing pets. My daughter-in-law brought her two dogs and it wasn't a problem. We used the kitchen to make breakfast and the professional built-in churrascaria for dinners. The big table outside in the back of the property came in handy for our large party where we could sit comfortably. Car parking is possible in the back of the house but we opted to park the car outside of the property in front, as the back would have required tight and precise maneuvering. Also in the back there are other cars parked by other vacation renters. In the back, there is another building with 3 smaller apartments, and the parking space in the back is shared. This means that you might not have the backyard all for yourself but since it is adequate in size and we did not mind the casual conversations with the other renters or with Paulo we were not bothered by it. International travelers are aware that Paulo speaks Portuguese only. The city of Torres has many good restaurants and the beach is more exciting (sometimes busy) than the usual beaches along the coastline from Porto Alegre all the way up to Torres.
