The city of Bombinhas – SC is located on the central – northern coast of Santa Catarina. Together with neighboring Porto Belo, from which it was emancipated in 1992, it forms the only Southern Peninsula of Brazil. Therefore, it has a “creative geology” that provides a jagged coastline, giving rise to countless beaches, cliffs, viewpoints, some coves and islands. It is the smallest municipality in the state with an area of 34.5 km2. In this small space, there are some of the most beautiful Brazilian beaches.

It has 5 Conservation Units: Morro dos Macacos Park, Praia da Galheta Park, Costeira de Zimbros ARIE, Ilha do Arvoredo Biological Reserve and part of the RPPN Morro dos Zimbros. More than 60% of its surface is covered by vegetation protected by law.
There are many tours available, enough to please different visitor profiles. Boat trips, diving, snorkeling, an unusual safari, jeep tours, hiking, etc.
The beaches are made of fine, white, monazite sand, bathed by emerald green water that has, for most of the year, high visibility. The destination is ideal for sun and beach tourism and for snorkeling or scuba diving.
In the bay of Zimbros and Canto Grande there are marine farms with an important production of mussels and oysters. The city was a fishing village. There are plenty of delicious shrimp and fish.
The nearest airports are Navegantes International Airport, which is 66 km from Bombinhas; and Florianópolis Hercílio Luz International Airport, 82 km from Bombinhas.
Bus trip: To get to Bombinhas from Florianópolis, the visitor will have to take two or three buses, depending on the route chosen. The most common route goes through the city of Porto Belo, costs around R$25.00 per person and works as follows:
