Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The space was nicely arranged for a weekend getaway, with most of the stuff you’d need to cook, and relax -there’re hammocks that could be hang outside for an afternoon nap! The house is also a short walk to the main street where supermarkets and other businesses are located. This makes it easy to get any supplies.

Negative: The location, 25 minutes to the ocean and 20 minutes to the lagoon (Praia Seca) is not ideal. Some of the things in the house didn’t work well, and they’d have benefitted from having a set of instructions. Water would stop coming out of the kitchen faucet ant times, and the gas tank under the sink had a bit of a leak and needed to be shut down after use. The access to TV streaming worked one night but the following times it wouldn’t load, and it’s impossible to login to our own accounts. The parking space is small, making it difficult to come in and out of the house, even when our car is small. It’d have been helpful to know some of these things ahead of time.
